The Louisiana Chapter of the National Committee of Grandparents for Children's Rights.
We are an organization that are interested in the rights of the children, their safety, the love
we have for them, and their right to grow up knowing they are loved, knowing that they
can become successful as a responsible loving capable adult. They are our future.
This is a support group for grandparents and other kin who are raising grandchildren as
well as grandparents who are trying to get visitation with their grandchildren. We want to
be a voice to change the laws for the best interest of the child, but most of all, we want to
make sure they do have a future in what ever they choose to prosue.
We are here to listen, to learn, to laugh with, to cry with, give advice (not legal, we are
not attorneys), get advice and suggestions as to which direction to turn in. We want to
become friends and family to support one another.
